Why Are There Two Figures in the "Dividend/Interest Accrual" Column for a Unit Investment Trust?

The first figure is the Carryover and Daily Interest amount. This includes all of the Carryover Interest as of the Date-of-Death plus any daily interest from the beginning of the interest period to the Date-of-Death. The second figure is for the previous interest distribution for which the decedent was of record and died before the distribution was paid. This figure is very similar to an accrued dividend with a corresponding ex-date, record-date, and payment-date.
