Report Options allow you to change the way evaluation reports are generated by the program.
Name Label determines what prefixes the portfolio’s “Name” field on the report.
Default Report Title is the text that will be automatically placed in each line of a portfolio’s title when it’s created.
Report Title on All Pages determines if the portfolio’s title is shown on every page, or just the first.
Include Report Type can be set to “No” if you don’t want “Report Type: [Report Type]” included in the report’s header. Set to “Yes”, the line is included.
Include File ID can be used to turn off the text “File ID: [Filename]” in the report’s header.
Font Weight determines how dark the letters appear on the report, and can be set to “Normal” or “Bold”.
The Evaluation box collects report options that are specific to evaluation reports. Report Style determines the general format of the report, both if it uses portrait or landscape orientation, and how many characters wide it is. Endnotes on a Separate Page sets if any text enter into the Notes field on the main screen are forced onto a separate page at the end of the report, or if they’re included on the last page if there’s room. Show 0 Shares can be used to show line items for holdings that have zero shares on the evaluation date — a security that’s been completely sold before the Alternate Date, for example — or to exclude them.
The Research box contains report options specific to research reports. Report Style determines the look of the research report, normally if they will be shown in portrait or landscape orientation. Show Additional Items will either show or hide research results that do not include specific details about the security, but suggest further research. Show Historical Items will show or hide research results outside of the period that concern the associated evaluation report.
