Changes in EVP Office 9.0.1
EVP Office 9.0.1 is a minor release, and you probably don't need to upgrade unless you want any of the features or fixes listed below. EVP Systems fully supports each release of EVP Office until its end-of-life date, listed here.
Features
- All numeric fields now support calculations; entering an arithmetic operator (
+
,-
,*
orx
,/
) while typing a number brings up a calculator that will put the result back into the field; the calculator obeys proper order of operations (PEMDAS) - The applications now support a dozen new cryptocurrencies: Cardano (
#ADA
), Avalanche (#AVAX
), Binance Coin (#BNB
), Dogecoin (#DOGE
), Polkadot (#DOT
), Chainlink (#LINK
), Terra Luna (#LUNA
), Shiba Inu (#SHIB
), Solana (#SOL
), Uniswap (#UNI
), USD Coin (#USDC
), Tether (#USDT
) - A new Excel export named "Excel (XLSX, Simple)" exports a spreadsheet with each lot using only a single row
- When data pasted into the grid has empty rows, a dialog appears asking if you want to preserve them or skip the blanks, and pastes the data accordingly
- When a portfolio has a primary evaluation date over ten years old, a warning now pops up
- For installations in
C:\Program Files (x86)\EVP Systems\
, adding an INI file for a program in that directory will cause its settings to be used as installation-wide defaults
Fixes
- A double-memory free in the automatic proxy detection code would sometimes crash the apps on launch; this has been fixed
- Exporting very large portfolios to Excel no longer corrupts the later entries
- Fixed cryptocurrency evaluations on Appraisal Date reports
- Fix the Identifier field in the lot-adjustment dialog to accept foreign currencies and commodities
- Sorting securities now causes the grid to redraw correctly, and show the identifiers in the new order
