Features

  • The EVP Office applications now allow encrypted communication with the EVP Systems servers for evaluations
  • The EVP Office applications now have proxies for secure communication, including the new encrypted evaluations, Tools → Look-Up... → Put/Call Options, metadata retrieval, user information submission
  • PDFs can now be generated directly from the print preview, using the new “PDF” button
  • Before an evaluation, the EstateVal, GiftVal, and CostBasis now estimate the price of the evaluation, and give the user the chance to continue or cancel

Fixes

  • Tools → Look-Up... → Put/Call Options now uses a more relaxed method of verifying its SSL certificate, to avoid host mis-match errors
  • Windows usernames are no longer sent on news queries if the option is turned off
  • Account Information Keys can now be pasted into their field even if the full field is not selected
  • A status-line description for the Contact Us menu item was added
  • Evaluation status icons now behave properly for the Alternate Date in certain corner-case situations
